American Literature

Paul Simon's Graceland was interesting to see & hear. I don't know exactly why he went all the way to Africa, but I'm guessing he was tired of America. I couldn't quite hear the difference in instruments,but I probably was just hearing it, I wasn't listening. I define literature as works of art that last over time. They also have to be written, so I guess that's why we were listening to this song. I found that it is pretty hard to define American as well.
